Meet Dr. Hutcheson

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Candice Hutcheson joined Children’s Dental Specialists as an associate in 2010, a partner in 2012, and full owner in 2018. She is fortunate to carry on the legacy and pediatric dental practice of Dr. Harold Simpson, who practiced in Richardson from 1980 until 2020. She was raised in the Richardson area and graduated from Berkner High School. After receiving an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, she attended dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Hutcheson then completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Children’s Medical Center, Baylor College of Dentistry, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, where she received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master’s degree. Dr. Hutcheson is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Hutcheson is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society.

Dr. Hutcheson is married to Cliff and they have three daughters. She is excited to return to her hometown and provide dental care for the community.
